Tom Landry Was The Greatest Coach Ever

Tom Landry was the greatest coach of all time for the following reasons:

1. He took an expansion team with no good players and within 5 years took them to the playoffs.

2. He took the Cowboys to 20 straight winning seasons.

3. He took the Cowboys to the playoffs 18 times.

4. He was very innovative, flex defense, multiple set offense, brought back the shotgun, etc..

5. He never had very many great players at one time, he took many teams with little talent and took them further than they should have, 75, 77, 66, 67 etc are good examples.

6 . He was a good person, morals, character, good Christian, etc.

7. There will never be another Coach like Tom Landry.
